lexisONE(sm) Announces Alliance With NextClient® to Provide Content for Lawyers' Web Sites

Los Angeles, CA – April 25, 2001- lexisONE, the Lexis-Nexis® resource for small law firms, and NextClient.com, Inc. have entered into a strategic agreement under which lexisONE users can benefit from NextClient's unique turnkey content solution that enhances a law firm's Web presence and Internet marketing efforts.

Marketed through the lexisONE site, NextClient's Web Content for Lawyerssm is a subscription-based service that delivers seamless, private-labeled electronic newsletters to existing legal Web sites weekly. The content of the newsletters is consumer oriented, highlights the lawyers' areas of practice and promotes direct client-attorney communication.

For example, lawyers with an existing Web site can go to the lexisONE site at www.lexisone.com click through to NextClient, and easily build a customized e-newsletter by selecting a practice area, firm name, and e-newsletter title. After viewing the design and private labeling entries, the lawyer can immediately subscribe to the content service online or by calling NextClient directly.
